ALVIN TURNER OBITUARY
Alvin Joseph Turner entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Kimiko Hosoya Turner. Father of Robert Tuner, Lynn Turner, and Charlotte Lawson (Dwight). Grandfather of Stacy Torres, Chloe Torres, Brian Lawson, and Paige Balser (Kyle). Great-grandfather of Kyrsten, Brian Jr., Dwight, Elijah, Avery, and Beckham. Son of the late Armenia Armand Turner and Oge Turner. Brother of the late Abbie Turner, Elden Turner, Edwin Turner, Esther T. Rachel, Cecilia T. Lemoine, Melvin Turner, and Mary Lena Turner. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Age 93 years, a native of Cottonport, LA, a resident of Algiers, LA, and a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time.
