George Huhner Jr.

US Army

US Army, 1st Infantry, 3rd  Division

Served in Korea from January 1951 through April 12, 1953

George was in a counterfire platoon and was in a foxhole for two years. His job was to provide information on the location of enemy fire. He was in the middle of battles with enemy fire on one side and friendly fire on the other. Due to being in the foxhole for so long with so much noise around him his hearing is almost all gone, and his knees are a big problem even now.
