JAMES THIBODEAUX 

James P. Thibodeaux died Monday, March 25, 2009 at 9:00 AM in Reserve, LA at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home. Former husband on Ann Schmidt Thibodeaux. Father of Kathy T. Barr and husband Peter, and Susan T. McElroy and husband Mac, David J. Thibodeaux, and Jane T. Stratton. Grandfather of Jennifer, Michael, Sara, Laura, and Jamie. Great-grandfather of Aubrey, Gabriel, and Abbigail. Age 79. A native of Abbeville, LA and resident of Kenner, LA for the past 35 years. Mr. Thibodeaux was a highly decorated Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in Korea. He was a life time member of the VFW and was extremely active with the Marine Corps. League and was Sergeant-At-Arms for the Paul E. Boyd Det. 579 in Kenner, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service from Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2009.
